We’re very pleased to announce that Terence Stamp, Sean Pertwee and John Hurt head the cast of actors lending their voices – and their facial expressions – to the Ultramarines movie.
Wooohooo, auch wenn’s nur eine Direct-2-DVD Production und ein CGI-Film wird, ich freue mich drauf, allein schon weil das Screenplay von Dan Abnett ist!

Seit dem 27. September wissen wirs, er wird kommen, der erste echte Warhammer 40.000 Film! Games Workshop hat die englische Firma Codex Pictures damit beauftragt einen CGI-Film über die Ultra Marines zu schaffen!

INTRODUCING ULTRAMARINES – A WARHAMMER 40,000 MOVIE!
The moment fans have been waiting for is finally here… for the first time, the Warhammer 40,000 universe will be realised in a feature-length movie on DVD.
Ultramarines is a 70-minute sci-fi thriller that will use CGI and state-of-the-art animation production techniques. Games Workshop is delighted to be working with UK-based production company Codex Pictures, who have the momentous task of bringing the Warhammer 40,000 universe to the screen.
Warum ich das erst heute schreibe? Nun, wie immer bin ich A) nicht der Schnellste und B) wurde das ganze erst gestern auf der GW Seite veröffentlicht! Ich freue mich wirklich, nach all den WH40K Romanen, auch endlich mal einen Film zu dem Thema zu sehen. Ich erinnere mich allerdings irgendwo in meinem Hinterkopf das ich vor Jahren schonmal, in einer Ausgabe des White Dwarfs, etwas über einen Warhammer 40.000 CGI Film gelesen habe, aber irgentwann war das Projekt einfach weg… wollen wir hoffen das es dem neuen Projekt nicht auch so ergeht!
