The Punisher – New Movie / Reboot (again!)
Jul 26th

The Punisher
Jop, richtig gehört, here we go again!
According to Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige over at the big Marvel panel at Comic Con, now that the Studio has regained the rights to the character (though it’s unsure how this happened; must have been some behind-the-scenes stuff that never got around to the trades, or publicly announced), Marvel is planning a return of the character.

The Avengers – Line-Up
Jul 26th
(Yeay! A Geek-Dream becomes true!) Am 14. Mai 2012 soll der Streifen dann endlich ins Kino kommen…

The Avengers - Cast LineUp
At the finale of their otherwise awesome panel highlighting Captain America and Thor, Kevin Feige brought the ENTIRE crew of The Avengers down to San Diego to make an appearance. Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Clark Gregg as Coulson, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner. And at the helm is Joss Whedon.

Captain America - Promo Artwork
Marvel has created a poster for Thor, directed by Kenneth Branagh, and also Captain America, directed by Joe Johnston. These are definitely not photos from either of the movies, but Drew Struzan-like pieces of artwork created to promote both movies at Comic-Con.

Thor – Hall of Asgard Photo
Jul 19th

Thor
The Official Plot Synopsis:
Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the epic adventure, “Thor,” which spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth), a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.
