Keanu Reeves führte ein Interview mit MTV zu seinem kommenden Film “The private lives of Pippa Lee”, während des Gesprächs kam auch das Thema Cowboy Bebop Realfilm auf, dazu sagte Mr. Reeves:
There’s a draft of the script, but the writer did such a great job…in order to make the movie you would need half a billion dollars.
The studio kinda just went: ‘This script is fantastic – and it would cost half a billion dollars!
Was wohl soviel heissen soll wie: “Wow, was für ein scharfes Script, SUPER! Aber “omfg” DAS wird (zu) teuer!”
Das Script wird nun nochmal überarbeitet, der Film ist also definitiv weiter in der Mache. Erfreulich ist allerdings zu hören (via AHT) das alle (Haupt-)Charakter aus der Serie auch im Film auftreten sollen.
Hja da freu ich mich auch äußerst drauf. 500 Mil. werden die Herren wohl doch auftreiben. Nicht geizen sondern klotzen sag ich!
